We have our own bureau – Professional Accounting Services Limited (“PAS”) – which offers a full bookkeeping service to clients.
PAS aim to achieve an accurate picture of your Business's financial position in the least possible time and with the minimum fussWe are able to do this by looking at your individual requirements and deciding upon the best approach. If you are modestly competent on the computer, you can keep costs down by completing some simple bookkeeping spreadsheets that we will happily give to you.
The PAS team will agree a fee basis with you, which is agreeable on both sides. This will be on the basis of a fixed monthly outlay, payable by standing order. This way you will know the monthly cost, and there will be no nasty surprises!
Choices!
Each client will have different requirements with regard to the preparation of their accounts. In all respects however they expect an efficient, reliable and prompt service and our strength lies in providing a personal service responsive to our clients’ needs.
In addition to providing a bookkeeping service, we offer practical advice and guidance on your accounting requirements and assisting in setting up your accounting system. We can advise on the relevant records to assist the preparation of company accounts and provide advice and training on the best bookkeeping system, whether it be a manual or a computerised accounting package. The prime concern is that it meets the requirements of our clients business.
Do you need Management Accounts?
If you run a simple business where: revenue and costs are consistent throughout the year compared to previous years; and you can judge the profitability of the business, then it is unlikely you need assistance with the preparation of Interim Management Accounts.
However: if business overheads are difficult to keep track of; or the business is going through a period of rapid expansion; or specific areas of the business need monitoring, then periodic reviews need to be carried out during the year.
Management information systems need not be sophisticated but many businesses fail to produce on a regular basis even the simplest of reports that would provide the key indicators of how the business is performing.
