Richard Simons (Managing Partner)
Richard believes in establishing personalised working relationships with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their business with a view to providing customised tax and commercial advice. As well as being one of the founding partners of the Firm, Richard specialises in providing advice on Corporate Finance, Business Angel investments and structuring Employee Benefit Trusts. His leisure pursuits are cars, reading and travel.

Tony Levy (Senior Partner)
Having founded the practice with Richard Simons in 1975 Tony advises a large diverse portfolio of clients on all aspects of business affairs and is on hand to discuss family managed acquisitions and disposals. His interests are sports, travel, and current affairs.

Peter Taylor (Senior Partner)
Peter has been in Practice for thirty four years and advises a varied client portfolio of owner managed businesses on accounting, taxation and commercial matters. In his spare time he enjoys sports, reading and the theatre.

Michael Barnett (Partner)
As well as managing his own portfolio of clients, Michael works closely with Richard Simons in providing dual partner contact in line with the Firm’s philosophy. After graduating from Manchester University in Economics and Government, he trained and qualified with BDO Stoy Hayward and went on to gain experience in Computer Audit with an International Firm. His specialisations include Information Technology and Business Planning. After spending two years in commerce, he returned to Practice and has been a partner at Richard Anthony & Co. for more than ten years. His interests are football, tennis, golf, sailing (master of none!) and reading.

Philip Horesh (Partner)
Philip has been in Practice for over thirty years and works closely with Tony Levy in providing dual partner contact. Philip also deals with a large client portfolio of owner managed businesses including Solicitors, Travel Agents and Restaurateurs as well as acting for many Overseas Landlords. Philip qualified in 1979 and moved on to Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) before joining Richard Anthony & Co. in 1987. He is a keen Spurs supporter and season ticket holder. His leisure pursuits include travel, food, movies and football and has to deal with two daughters at home!

Anthony Simons (Technical Partner)
Tony is the firm’s Technical Partner and also responsible for Training and Recruitment. He manages his own portfolio of wide-ranging clients and also lends support to the other partners where a second partner review or technical help is required. He trained at Binder Hamlyn (now part of Deloitte), and then moved to a medium-sized practice where he was an Audit Partner for six years. He joined Richard Anthony & Co. in 1994 and was appointed partner in 1996. His interests are reading, music, and the occasional round of golf.

Bill Singh (Tax Partner)
Bill has been in Practice for nearly twenty years and has an in-depth knowledge of both Tax and Accounting matters. He read Engineering at university and after completing his Master of Science degree, Bill trained with a medium-sized Accountancy Firm in North London. He practised as an Auditor for a number of years after gaining admission to the Institute of Chartered Accountants and then moved to Richard Anthony & Company to specialise in Taxation.
Bill is now, in addition, a full member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the Institute of Indirect Taxation, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Bill advises on all manner of UK taxation. He oversees the Firm’s Income Tax Self Assessment compliance function, and is committed to exploring tax-efficient planning strategies for both corporate and non-corporate clients. He has many interests, inter alia travel, current affairs, history and english literature.

Asif Hassan (Partner)
Asif has been in Practice for over twenty five years and has a wealth of experience in accounting, auditing, consultancy and taxation, and in line with the Firm’s philosophy he works closely with clients to meet their needs and help them develop their business interests. Asif also acts for a number of Medical Practitioners. In his youth he captained the Middlesex Schools’ cricket teams and is now an MCC member. He enjoys tennis, music and history.

David Field (Consultant)
David has been in practice for over 33 years. He was a partner in a West End firm before moving locally to Colindale and establishing his own practice.
David specialises in dealing with sole traders and small business clients and gives a personalised service. He provides valuable input with start-up schemes, establishing and supporting new businesses, particularly during the initial months of trading. David also acts for numerous property companies and non-corporate resident landlords. His hobbies and interests are golf, football and food – in that order.
